Ferrah is a crazy lady who is always ready to run! She runs anywhere in the team and is always the first one ready to go. Her best quality as a leader is that she is superb at her commands!

Rosa is a goofy gal! She makes a great role model for the younger dogs in the yard.

Litter: Cows (Boulding)
Position: Lead
Blossom is a great lead dog from Tori Boulding’s “cow” litter. She’s the mom of the bird litter, who are now the main litter of the kennel. She’s a super snuggly girl and loves to come inside for cuddles.

Gryphon is a big cuddly boy that loves to say hi everyone. He’s a favorite to come inside and for skijoring.

Sassy, aka Sasquatch, is a real sweetheart. She gets along with everyone and is great for people learning how to skijor.

Phoenix is a favorite to run in lead and to help teach some of our puppies. She’s great with her commands and is always trying to do the right thing.

Maggie is the sweetest of the bird puppies, and loves cuddles. She is great with her commands and ran in lead for most of the 2025 Jr.Iditarod!

Flicker is the sprinty-est of the bird puppies, and is awesome for skijoring at high speeds. She is also a favorite to run in lead.

Jay is a strong boy who is still learning some manners. He runs in the team and does well skijoring.

Merlin probably has the most drive out of all the birds. She is insane to go and is always the first one barking when we stop.

Kestrel is a sweetheart and loves to run. She spent a winter with Leni where she did a lot of skijoring.

Creeper always has a lot to say. He’s a sweetie and he prefers to run shorter distances.

Jelly, affectionately known as Jelly Bean, is a sweet little girl that came from the shelter. She is a great lead dog that loves to skijor and is amazing at finding moose.

Marten is a sweet boy that loves to run. He is also the father of the bird litter!

This will be Pia’s first winter running with the main team! She is training with the big dogs and doing great.

Elf is a sweet old man. He can be a bit of a grump with some of the annoying puppies, but he is a great skijor dog and runs in lead sometimes.

Grebe is one of Maddie’s dogs. He’s a super sweet cuddly boy that does a ton of skijoring with his sister, Loon.

Loon is one of Maddie’s dogs! She’s super smart and very speedy. She makes an excellent skijoring dog!

Dirty (aka Yeti) is one of the sweetest mythical creatures. He’s a real attention hog and will demand some pets if you are in his vicinity. He runs well in lead, but gets distracted by all the lovely ladies.

Nessy (aka Loch Ness) is a sweet old lady. She likes to spend her summers at home these days, and is a go-to blueberry picking dog!

Mummy is Sonja’s dog, originally from Peggy and Torsten Kohnert. She is a superb lead dog and has the lovely job of teaching many of the puppies to run in lead. She’s still training with the team this year, while also enjoying the house dog life!
